Ludlow Orchestra
Ludlow Orchestra

Ludlow Orchestra is a well established amateur orchestra which was founded in 1970. The orchestra now has approximately 45 players directed by our Conductor, Jonathan Lyness. The gradual growth in numbers has been matched by the growing expectations and delight of our loyal and ever-increasing audience.

We perform two or three concerts a year in St Laurence's Church, Ludlow, and Ludlow Assembly Rooms with pieces drawn from the full range of the standard orchestral repertoire. Rehearsals take place fortnightly on Sunday evenings at Wistanstow, Craven Arms.

The orchestra is always glad to receive enquiries from prospective members. At the moment, especially welcome will be enquiries from violinists, double basses and horns.
