Ludlow Arts: Classical

Ludlow Choral Society

Ludlow Choral Society presents two main concerts each year and collaborates with professional soloists and instrumentalists and with other performers. Our concerts are held in St Laurence's Church, Ludlow, and at other venues.

The choir performs a wide range of music, from the traditional choral repertoire to less familiar earlier and more modern works. Our Music Director, Nicola Starkie, is well-known as a choral conductor. Our accompanist and Deputy Music Director is Steve Dunachie.

Founded in 1858, the Society currently has around 70 members. We are always keen to welcome new singers and there are no auditions for entry. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings. For more information, and for contact details, see the Society's website.
