Alex Trigg's musical journey began as a chorister at King's College, Cambridge under Sir Stephen Cleobury. After a gap year at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, he returned to Cambridge as Organ Scholar at St John's College. Since graduating, he enjoys a diverse freelance career as an Organist, Director and Educator.

A champion of youth music, Alex is passionate about widening access and participation. As Founder and Director of the St Andrew's Music School, Alex will be leading an exciting programme of outreach in local schools and providing free music education to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Alex works regularly with several choirs in Cambridge, including as Assisting Organist at Great St Mary's (The University Church)) and Chorus Accompanist for the Cambridge Philharmonic. He is also Assistant Director of Cambridge Schola — the University's newest choir — which he played a pivotal role in forming.

As an organist, Alex continues his own studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Daniel Moult, Nicholas Wearne and Nathan Laube. Forthcoming recitals include Magdalen College Oxford, St George's Hanover Square and St Paul's Cathedral.
