Oboist, teacher and educator, George Caird enjoys a highly diverse life in music and the arts, holding leading positions in UK and European conservatoires and performing as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player.

Simon Blendis, Douglas Patterson and Jane Salmon have been playing together for more than 30 years as members of the former piano quartet the Schubert Ensemble, which enjoyed a long and international reputation, as well as pursuing associations with other leading groups.
