Our evening concert, The Joy of Music to celebrate the Shropshire landscape on the weekend of the summer solstice will be held in the magnificent historic church of St Laurence in the heart of Ludlow. The concert will feature an evening of pastoral music from Vintner, Stanford, Finzi, Berkeley, Schumann and Beethoven interspersed with readings from the works of Mary Webb. We are delighted to be able to present a concert of this quality to our members and the public.

Robin Rubenstein has performed as solo pianist and chamber musician throughout England and the USA. She taught at The Royal Academy and Royal College of Music.

Mark Lacey has performed regularly with many of the UK's leading opera companies including English National Opera, Welsh National Opera and English Touring opera.

Rob Northcott is a classically trained musician, composer, orchestrator and performer specialising in neo-classical concert works. He has a diverse musical background and can compose in a wide variety of musical genres.
